Guitar and Harmonica Playing guitar and lap steel were my first loves in music.  In the last few years I’ve really grown to love harmonica.  So much so that I spent time studying harp customization with the harmonica virtuoso and acclaimed harp customizer, the late Chris Michalek. Since my time with Chris, I have developed some ways to do the things he did to a harp in a way that is much easier for me to do. The Bosser and the Harp Hookah are machines that I invented to help me do a better job of some of the old standard actions to help harps play better. Performance and Songwriting At some point I achieved a degree of proficiency to want to perform for an audience.  I was generally very well received.  So, when I was younger I played in clubs around Salt Lake City but moving to California saw me looking into other endeavors just to make a living.  But always the music called.  I wrote some songs, played for myself and close friends and family and generally honed my guitar playing and singing.  Then I started playing harmonica seriously, and the Internet made playing for an audience a lot easier and performing started to come back to the fore.  When I retired from a career of being an electrician, I went back to music with the hope of being able to make a little money and have a lot of fun with it.
